GeeXboX ISO

GeeXboX ISOs are ready-to-burn disc images containing the bootable GeeXboX Operating System for multimedia entertainment. Pre-made ISO images are currently available for both x86_32 (32-bits PC), x86_64 (64-bits PC) and PowerPC (Macinstosh) computers. Other languages are available with the ISO generator. The installer software is included in the ISO.

GeeXboX ISO Generator

With this package, it is easy to modify GeeXboX in a few seconds without having to build the sources. The generator produces ISO image of the GeeXboX, ready to be burned on disc, that you may have customized to fit your needs. The software is multi-platforms, working currently under both GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows 9x/NT/2k/XP systems. It is able to produce ISO images for both x86_32, x86_64 and PowerPC targets.

Here are the GeeXboX sources. If you choose the Lite package, you'll need both the wget package and a connection to the Internet to compile your own GeeXboX as most of the packages will be directly downloaded from the web while compiling the GeeXboX. If you don't want to bother, just grab full source package.

The GeeXboX ISO generator is also available through apt-get for GNU/Linux Debian users. Simply add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file :
